Have all equipment and arranged Work Safe stuff beforehand and provided Hygienist on day job was fiished to check everthing safely removed and a Clearance Certificate day after job. All included in quote. And the best quote of 4 from Hi Pages. But mainly they know their stuff with asbestos demolition and are friendly and hepful. Others I was uncertain. Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that is found in rock formations. Each mineral is made up of millions of flexible and small silicate fibres that are bonded together. Asbestos was commonly used in the building and construction industry because it is lightweight and exceptionally durable. It was used in a huge range of building materials including, but not limited to:

• Cement Moulded Products.

Asbestos is categorised as either Friable or Non-Friable asbestos, which means: Friable Asbestos: This means that the asbestos can be crumbled or broken down by hand or a little amount of pressure. This kind of asbestos is usually loose in nature and is very dangerous as it is easy for the asbestos fibres to become airborne.

Non-Friable Asbestos: Also known as bonded asbestos, means that the asbestos is mixed with other bonding or adhesive materials and are usually solid, rigid, and not easily disturbed. Though this kind of asbestos can become damaged over time, from natural occurrences, or from direct activities, like drilling, cutting and sanding.
